I have an account set up on a computer with all my apps, music etc. When I purchased a new computer and synced with it following the instructions but my apps got either deleted or the folders were deleted and the apps had to be re-installed.

Before I do anything with syncing my music I need some advice on how to syn without the hassle I experienced with my apps.
