    iPad 3 Photo syncing question

    I have a lot of photos synced from itunes on my desktop to my iPad 3. If I Photoshop some of the photos on my desktop, will the modified photos be transferred to my iPad next time I sync if the file name stays the same? Or, will the sync only apply to files with different names?
