Hi, can someone help me? I will be going into hospital for several days and want to take my iPad 3 with me. If there is no wifi available, is there any other way I can connect to the Internet? My husband had a 3G dongle with a USB connector for his laptop, is there anything similar for iPad? There doesn't seem to be a USB port.

Call the hospital and ask. If they don't maybe one of the new Internet wifi devices (I have the Verizon) otherwise you are out of luck. When I was in Kaiser locally they had it.

Unless your iPad has the 3G/4g option, the only way to connect to the internet is through wifi. There is no wired or USB dongle Internet connection that will work.
