Need a Dummies guide to docs- Job Hunting - help !

Sorry but I cannot follow the conversation to which I was directed- I need to be able to download from email my resume, revise, and upload to email and the web.
Can someone please explain how to do this - you know- like "the Dummies Guide to..."

    Hi marska,

maybe a first question. What format are your resume files?
If they are doc files you maybe could use QuickOffice HD or a similar app to revise them and send them back.

    Does this make sense?

    Hi marska,

it has been a long time between your two posts, glad that you are back.

    for doc files:

You could use QuickOffice Pro HD to edit your files.
Say you get a doc file attached to an email. Then tap and hold the attached file in Mail application. A pop up will be displayed showing several applications you could use to open the attachment. Select QuickOffice.
QuickOffice opens the doc file and you can edit it. Once edited, you simply tap and drag the file to the mail icon - an envelope - and the Mail application opens and the doc file is automatically attached to your mail. Send it and you are done.

    for PDF files:

I haven't found a way to REALLY edit PDF files on the iPad, I only can annotate them. There are several apps which can do this in a way.
I use goodreader, or PDF Max Pro or PDF expert.

The procedure is the same as with doc files. You get them via mail, open them from mail in another app, edit them and send them out via mail again.

    Does this help?

    Knut
