Any idea why this is happening ? It gets to 70 and nothing more. It's ipad 3.

Try draining the battery so your battery indicator can recalibrate itself. Apple recommends that once a month.

I think it might be because of a usb stub I was using, as the one given by Apple is so short. It reached now 100% without using that stub. Possibly the electrical property change with this 1.8 meter stub
