Hey everyone!!

Okay, so I was on a pretty spotty wifi connection this past week when I was on vacation. When my app started to update, I kept losing my wifi connection, so the update progress bar would get halfway complete, then it would freeze, and I would have to exit. After a few tries, I just decided to update when I got home.

When I returned to glorious cable Internet, my app would try to automatically update again, and an error of would come up saying "unable to download application. Pages cannot be downloaded at this time. Done or retry."

I've re-tried and restarted. Anyone have any ideas on my next steps? PAGES is my app.

Can you delete pages and then reboot the iPad and then reinstall pages from iTunes?

I'm not sure if I'll be able to redownload. Can I redownload something I've purchased? I spent ten bucks on the app, I just don't want to lose it.

Whatever happens, you won't lose it. Once you have paid for an app, it's yours. In fact, you won't even see the price any more in the app store. It'll either say install if it's not resident on your iPad, or purchased if it is.
