Close your apps completely - When an app behaves strangely it is best to close it completely and then relaunch it. From the home screen do the four finger swipe up or double press the home button to reveal your multi task bar. These are all the apps that you have opened at one time. Long press the app until it jiggles and a red minus sign will appear above it. Press the minus sign, this will close the app, not delete it, now press the home button to return to your screen. It's also a good idea to close all these apps, as it helps the iPad run smoothly....see if you can now view them if not a restart is the next step
Press and hold the power off button, the one at the top right. You will see a slide appear to power off, slide this and the screen will go dark and a Whirly will appear. When the Whirly disappears your iPad is now off. Press the power button again until the Apple logo appears, this will take a few seconds and your iPad will restart. You should restart your iPad occasionally also as it will keep it running well. Now see if it is operating. A reset is the next step, this will not change anything on your iPad and is akin to rebooting a PC.
Hold the power off button and the home button simultaneously, keep holding them in and you will see the power off slide appear and disappear, wait until you see the Apple logo appear before releasing the buttons. It will take a little longer for your iPad to start. Let us know how you go.
Please do not post twice on your issues, as well as dividing any info given it is also against Forum Rules, I have now deleted your other post.
I've moved your thread to our Help Section where you will receive a better response.

You need to do the four finger swipe up or double press your home button to reveal your multi task bar which runs along the bottom of the iPad. When you long press an app here in the multi task bar is where the red minus signs will appear. I feel you are doing it from the main screen and the black cross will delete your apps not close them. I hope the Skitch below will help you with this.

I also ran into this problem when I downloaded Entourage. Except it was not showing the final 3 episodes. Had to cave and watch them on a PC. Bummer

Hi Vanessa, I just saw a solution in another forum. Person downloaded a series and the most recent set of shows would not sync. The problem is caused by missing or incomplete metadata on the file. The solution is to edit the metadata in iTunes before trying to re-sync. Usually you can right click on the file and select Get Info. this brings up the metadata. One of the tabs you can see the series, episode, etc. data which you can edit. also make sure the episode number is entered.
The other post/forum was not specific on the fields that were in error, but I guess you could compare with the files that are syncing OK to get a baseline.
I hope it helps!
