About LinkBacksWhy does it take so long to recieve a picture in my .mac .yahoo .hotmail accounts? When I do get a picture, then
open another email. Go back to the email with the picture it isnt there. It has to re-download it??? My email on my
macbook, once it is opened, its there. even if I dont have internet. Whats the deal?? Im over in afghanistan so the internet isnt the best, so having to wait for a redownload sucks........ Any help?

It's because the photo is being sent as an attachment, when your downloading it, it only stores temporarily I suggest saving the picture if you can. Originally Posted by choppermech11

However one thing I have noticed is if you attach the file it needs to be downloaded on the other end, however if you just copy and paste the picture directly to the body of the email the image shows up almost instantly?? I just tested it and it seems to be working for me, I'm on 3G using gmail so it shown instantly. Not sure if that will work in your case but it's worth a try at least. Good luck.
