Don't seem to be able to get my iPad blue tooth working have tried several none apple divides and also another iPad but does not seem to recognise my iPad

No you won't be able to pair with other devices, it is primarily for use with headsets and keyboards, unless of course you are Jailbroken.

I have no problem to connect my iPad2 with my Nokia C2-01 cellphone. I can browse the internet using the phone to connect to the internet.
