    Deleting files in iTunes

I use the iTunes App section on the computer to transfer files to the iPad. Once I "add" a file to be transferred, how do I delete it before I sync if the file was added in error and I do not want it on the iPad?

You can do it in one of two ways - grab the icon showing in the right window with your mouse and drag it back over to the left side (where the app list is). Or, you can scroll through the list of apps until you locate the app. If there is an "X" in the little box, untick it. Then you'll be all set to sync.

    Hope this clarifies.

I do it on the App File Sharing. App icons are on the left. Clicking an app icon shows the list of documents I haved "added" to share on the right. Not certain what screen you are refering to. Once I have "added" a document to share, I do not know how to delete it before or after sync.

My apologies, I thought you were talking about apps. Didn't read your post well enough...

When I add a document to an app in iTunes, I can delete it by pressing my computer's delete key (strangely enough, the right click/select delete option doesn't work...).

Regardless, I tested it a few times with a few different apps. It's the Delete key - just highlight the document(s) you want to get rid of and then you're done.

Sorry for the confusion, hope this clarifies.
