    Child locking folders

I have sorted my apps into folders and want to be able to lock some folders so my 3yr old son can't access those apps (YouTube Facebook settings and the like). Does anyone know how to do this?? Or can u lock apps? We usually disable certain apps and capabilities when he uses it but if I disable them to use the iPad myself then I have to completely renter the disablement from scratch again which gets tiresome. Wish I could set up 'users' with preset restrictions.
Tried downloading apps that call themselves locked folders. It u can't drop apps in them - they are designed for people hiding lists of private info and porn photos.
    Help!

You are right there is no application at this time to create secure folders for apps on your iPad.

For now the iPad is considered a single user device. Until that changes we are kinda stuck.
Background apps are hiding for good reason. Seek them out, close them. The world will be a better place.

How sad that there is a massive market for apps to hide porn photos but not a thing to help hide settings and more from inquisitive kids. Airplane mode is a simple way that we also use to keep him out of the Internet and just use the apps that are for him .... But he's nearly 4 and he's very savvy - he'll work that out one day !! Would be hand to just code lock settings.
