hi im new to ipad i dont know if the i pad has a fault or its to do with settings but ive lost my wifi internet any idea's most gratefull

Have you gone to your settings/wifi--forget network. Than do a search again and see if your ipad can pick up your wifi signal. If it can--than rejoin by putting in your wifi router password.

Also, can any of your other devices get online--assuming this is in your home?
