They go to your Photos app. Once in Photos, open the photo you want as the wallpaper. In the top right, there will be an icon of a box with an arrow pointing out of it. Click it and one of the choices will be Set As Wallpaper.

Alternatively you can go into Settings and Brightness and Wallpaper section will allow you to pick a different wallpaper.
