About LinkBacksI don't sync my iPad with any computer calendars only iCloud but if I go back through the calendar after a few months the calendar entries seem to dissapper. In settings it is ticked to sync all entries so that isn't an issue.

It should not have any affect on the iPad, but try this.
Go to icloud.com on a computer. Open the Calendar app and choose the gear icon at the top right, then Preferences. On the Advanced tab uncheck the Hide Events item, if it is checked.
Alos, go to the iCloud settings on the iPad and see if turning off/then on the Calendar helps.
