About LinkBacksI have a brand new iPad 2. Have only had it for a couple of weeks and I noticed a couple of days ago that the iCloud and message apps are Missing frome home screen and they are not in settings. I'm new to using apple products and I am not sure how to get these apps back or if I accidentally deleted them.

Check in the Settings App to see if you have any restrictions turned on.

There must be restrictions on the. iPad. Happened to me on my first iPod

Also, check which version of IOS you have installed in Settings > About.
iCloud and Messages are only available in the 5.x firmware. You don't get them just because you have an iPad2. If you are still on the older 4.x firmware you will not have these features until you update your iPad in iTunes.
