I am having two issues with a ipad

1: about a inch of the right side of the ipad touch screen does not work

2: I have restore and reset the ipad to factory settings and when the "You have successfully restored your Ipad" screen comes up and I go to continue the next screen is to enable or disable the location services.

Issue is that I can not select next to continue because it is in the one inch area of the right side of the ipad.

Is there anyway I can get pass this "restore setup" and or a way to fix this right side screen issue.

Sounds like a trip to the apple repair store is in order here.

I hope not because the warranty has already expired

My warranty is up also and the apple store still has helped with several problems. Give it a try.

As a short term fix to get past the setup screen, turn your iPad upside down, the dead area should then be on the left? ( if it is a hardware fault)
