Syncing 2 iPads on the same computer

    Hi all,

I'm currently using an iPad 1 with iOS 4.3, and my father is considering buying an iPad 2. My question is will there be any problems syncing both iPads on the same PC? Will iTunes be able to differentiate between the 2 iPads and keep the apps separate?

    Thanks!

No problems at all. You can sync lots of Apple devices to the same PC. I have 2 iPads and 3 iPhones sync'd to my MacBookPro without any issues.

What you can't do is sync your iPad with multiple desktops...
    15" MacBookPro with Retina Display 16GB 3.4GHz i7 256GB | iPad4 WiFi 32GB 6.1.2 (evasi0n) | iPad3 4G 64GB 6.1.2 (evasi0n) | iPad2 3G 64GB 5.1.1 (redsn0w) | iPad1 3G 64GB 4.3.3 (jbme) |
    iPhone5 32GB 6.1.2 (evasi0n) | iPhone4S 64GB 5.1.1 (absinthe) | iPhone4 32GB 4.3.3 (jbme) | iPhone3G 16GB 3.1.3 (jbme) | iPod Classic 6G 160GB (stock) | AppleTV 2G 5.0.2 (seas0npass)

Just give the devices different names and click off anything you don't want to automatically synch.

When I've done it, I usually restore the new iPad to the profile of my earlier one, then rename it, and delete what I don't want. That's if you want most of the content and apps on the new one as well, to save time loading, but YMMV.

Thanks for the suggestion! I'll try that.
