Hi Artp - welcome to the forum!

Please clarify, i.e. I'm assuming that you want to copy your favorites from a PC browser, such as IE or Firefox to your iPad into Safari - correct?

I don't have an answer except that you can certainly export you PC favorites list but to get that into Safari is the issue - hopefully others after learning if this is your purpose might be able to help? Good luck!

Yes, sorry I did not make myself clear. I want to copy the favorites from my pc browser (IE). I did download the ipad2 help file, but could not find an answer.

    Thanks for the welcome

If you are using iCloud, maybe.

I'm not familiar with the PC version of the iCloud sync tool, but the Mac one offers the ability to sync with Safari's bookmarks on the Mac. It is possible that the PC version will offer the same for IE. You also have to turn iCloud on for the iPad, and enable bookmark syncing there.

If that does not work, as a one time solution (unless you decide you like Safari) you could download the PC version of Safari (from Apple) import your IE bookmarks into it, then turn on iCloud syncing for Safari's bookmarks; then turn it back off if you don't intend to use it again.
