Is anyone else having this problem? I recently downloaded 5.0.1 software. Might it be related?

Try closing the app completely in the multitask bar.

I just tried the app on iPad 1 and 2, both on iOS 5, and it's working fine. As Tim says, try closing the app. If that doesn't work, you can try restarting your iPad, resetting your iPad, or deleting and reloading the app. I don't remember any updating of the app since iOS 5, but have you checked that all your apps are updated?
