Is it safe to "slide to cancel" during sync?
-iPad 2, white, 32GB, wifi
-iPhone 4S, white, 16GB, Verizon

Normally, yes. I've done it a time or two with no problems. Hold in mind that if you are doing it to interrupt something you don't want to happen you may or may not get the results you want. And doing it because something seems to be hung up, well chances are it is already messed up.

Actually I think the syncing in bkgd has already bn activated. I answered a text during a music sync and it was only like 20% thru but kept going.
