I have an Ipad 2 on which I ve facebook apps. Everytime i open the fb app, a random youtube page opens up in safari. How do i prvent this? Help!!

Lots of people having this problem. It's some kind of glitch with Facebook and some (but not quite all) apps.

I'm having the same problem with iPad 1. I've reinstalled Facebook. I've restored my factory settings. It still happens. Any ideas?

Again, no one has any idea what is going on. Given that it's nearly every Facebook app - we are going with the thought that somehow Facebook has messed up some sort of coding on the mobile side [when it comes to viewing videos].

No one really knows when it'll get fixed - or even if the Facebook folk are aware (or care).

The one sure-fire way to prevent this is to access Facebook via the web versus a Facebook app. Otherwise, you have to keep fiddling with the app (for example, I have the iPhone Facebook app - when/if it opens a video, I can go back to the app with no further troubles - others are not so lucky).
