Is the hotspot that doesn't work needing a password? Some public hotspots are completely open and don't require any passwords. But some in shops, malls, coffee shops etc require a password that you'll need to get from the vendor.

In the UK O2 hotspots are hit and miss. Already complained to O2, but no solution to problem. The say it's a problem with my iPad....yeah right!
