For two weeks now, my ipad2 is unable to connect to wireless internet. I have tried following online instructions and set the wi fi icon on, but it remain off. What can I do to reconnect wirelessly?

OK - some questions.

WiFi is switched 'On' in the iPad's 'Settings' app.
Can you 'see' any networks there that the iPad can receive? (because I'm trying to understand whether the iPad is able to receive WiFi but simply can't connect to those networks)
