I've been searching for an easy way to capture my screen to video. Key word here is easy.

Any suggestions?

There is no way to capture the iPad screen to video on the iPad itself. The best that can be done it to use an external recorder and connect it to the iPad via the optional HDMI connector. You'll find several threads on this Forum about the pros and cons of this method.

Only if jailbroken...then download DisplayRecorder from cydia...

Regarding jailbreak: can I keep an account and also jailbreak it or is it an "either or" thing. I'm not going off on a tangent, if I can do both, I'll check out the app you recommended for jailbreak only.

Not sure what you mean by 'keep an account' - do you mean an iTunes account, an email account? Either way, it shouldn't make any difference.

Read through the jailbreaking threads and see if it's for you. In any case, it's a fully reversable process. At present there's no 'official' iPad2 jailbreak.
