    i'll probably be blasted and proven wrong but as far as i know, your videos have to be in mp4 format to play on the iPad (1 & 2)....

    Download AVPlayer HD and you don't even need to convert your files and it plays allot of formats.

    Wow! What an awesome program! I've never heard of it but I'll definitely buy it. Why? Cuz it supports .h264, .mkv, subtitles, etc!

    For this who dont know, .mkv files are pretty awesome: great quality and small file size.

    By the way, you can easily buy the program from the iTunes store for $2.99.

    Also, it's easy to find reviews on the web; here's one:
