Hello,

I've just received my first iPad, 16gb, $250 on cl. and it's awesome!

Few questions though and yes I did jailbreak it.

1- when tab browsing, how do I set the new tabs to open in the background?
2- when switching between tabs, how do I keep the pages loaded into cache? Each time I switch tabs the page has to reload, super annoying.
3- when sending emails, how do I remove the "sent from my iPad" advertisement, permanently?
4- how do I back up apps I've downloaded *****
5- is there a way to set up the iPad to work like an external hd? I'd like to plug it into my pc, drag and drop files such as photos, mp3s, PDFs and open them with their corresponding apps on the go?
6- apples synch deal with iTunes is a total PITA! Is there a way to circumvent this whole process?

1. I don't know
2. You can't. It is annoying but that's how it works.
3. I think you can do that in the general settings. I don't have my iPad with me right now so I can't give you specifics but look around in there.
4. We don't discuss anything that has to do with obtaining paid apps for free.
5. There are apps available that will allow you to do that. Try Zumocast.
6. When you turn on the machine and the first thing it tells you is plug into iTunes, no, that's how it works. Now maybe if you jailbreak it that might be possible but I've never done that.

3 - Settings>>mail>>signature.......delete it or change it to anything you like.
