Id suggest restarting your modem and you ipad. I use to have that issues once in a while, I was told by apple to try that and it should work. Havnt had an issue since. I guess it just resets the settings on the modem.

I would also make sure that if there is any upper or lower case letters in pass word that you make they are put in the right way .
