    iPad won't shut down after accidentally interrupting sync

    Hi, all...

    I accidentally interrupted my sync on my iPad, and now I can't get it to shut down, reboot, or anything.

    Is there anyone that can help me with this issue? I depend on my iPad a bit too much for it to go down.

    Nevermind...in my desperation, I think I figured out how to force a shut down by holding both the home button and the sleep button at the same time.

    Yep, that's called a reset, and is what Apple suggests you do when the iPad will not start or shut down normally.
