    It uses up your Wi-Fi data. If you are paying on a limited data plan, then it could cost you if use it a lot. Other than that, it's free.

    FaceTime doesn't use data if you're over wifi. if you're idevice is jail broken and you use a app like my3g or face breaker then you'll incur data charges to your monthly plan.
