can't connect at library

This is a discussion on can't connect at library within the iPad Help forums, part of the Apple iPad Discussions category; brought my ipad 2 wifito public library in Melbourne Fl but could not connect to their network. Personnel told me not set up for Ipad!! ...

    can't connect at library

    brought my ipad 2 wifito public library in Melbourne Fl but could not connect to their network. Personnel told me not set up for Ipad!! My laptop connects fine. What gives--any ideas?

    Thats strange, if you are using the same login and passoerd that works on the laptop, then it should work on the ipad 2.

    They probably need to restart their WiFi access point. Or else their brand of access point is weird or some setting is weird.

    asked them at the library and was told network will not support Ipad.
