    Printing photos?

Is there a way to upload (for lack of a better term) photos to Costco or Walmart to be printed right from you Ipad. I am interested in Ipad1 and Ipad2.

    Thanks,
    Katie

I don't know of any easy way to do that. If your iPad has the optional Camera Connection Kit then your iPad can read and display photos that are on your camera or memory card and import them into its native Photos app, but I don't think this works the other way. The photobooth at my local store can accept memory cards, USB sticks and even Bluetooth connections, but none of these are going to work with the iPad. Although the iPad comes with a USB cable it's not a 'regular' USB device so I don't think - but maybe others will know better - you could plug it into a USB socket at a photo booth and have the photos on the iPad printed.

I am hesitating a little (another way of saying I don't really know!) because, when I sync my iPad to my PC I can 'see' the photos and videos in the 'My Computer' window on my PC, so it might just be possible. Hopefully somebody in the Forum will have tried this....

    Hi Katie,
I installed the Dropbox app on my iPad and iPhone, also my desktop so all my photos sync. The Dropbox pics show up on my desktop, running windows, in the app file folder. From there I can select the photos to upload to Costco from my computer..no need to take your nice new iPad into Costco!
    Hope this works,
    Mary
