Bring it back to an Apple Store, there isn't much you can do to fix it yourself.
thanks for the reply. Does it need to be a big store with customer support or will a small retail only store do? it's only 4 months old so will it be replaced with a new one?
thanks
Nath
It will be replaced with a refurbished unit.Originally Posted by HavellN
Any Apple store should have replacement units in store. If you have bought it from another retailer, you might want to call first, whether they have replacement units, or if Apple is handling that. The reason being, that many stores sell iPads, but forward you to Apple stores for any defects, an exception being BB which has their own service and will handle replacements on their own.
ok, thanks for your help, will venture back to the apple store we purchased from.
thanks,
Nath
Someone will probably get this one as a "refurbished unit."![]()
