You should go to the app store and get appstart. Its a great introduction to everything you need to know about your new tablet
Press and hold any app icon until they all start to wiggle. then just drag on app on top of another. It will create a folder. Continue dragging apps onto the folder icon to add more.
Be careful not to tap the x's on the icons, or you will delete the app.
When done, press the home button, and the apps will stop wiggling.
To rename the folder, open it by tapping on it. Then hold an icon until they start wiggling. The folder name will become a text entry field where you can edit the folder's name.
Tap the home button when finished.
I recommend you pick up the iPad Users Guide as a PDF here: http://manuals.info.apple.com/en_US/iPad_User_Guide.pdf
Or get the iBooks app and go the iBooks store and download it. Lots of useful information.
You can also rename them but that'll be easy to figure out.

Thank you so much! I did download the manual and I couldn't find that.
Now I know where to get my questions answered! Thanks again
