Ive used windows since 3.1 and I've never had a virus...of course ive also never had one on a mac. I have had adware on windows comps and you can fix it by reinstalling windows...this is why you should NEVER save anything important to the c:.....same with Mac, Macintosh HD is for OS and Apps only.

I agree we will see more virus activity on the Mac. Because I run an RDP client I use iantivirus. If you installed and use Windows on your Mac you should definitely use a virus program. Safe computing like Bremen suggests is a great way to reduce risk.
Safe computing means not opening attachments from unknown senders and not installing applications you dont understand.
