My computer recognizes my ipad and it will sync, charge, restore, everything as it should, all my buttons/switches respond (as far as I can tell) but my screen is just blank/black the backlights will light up but thats it. I have tried a restore, soft reset, and hard reset with no luck. A few weeks ago I cracked my screen ordered a new digitizer and LCD put it back together worked great for 2-3 weeks now I get nothing but a blank/black screen.

Sounds like Apple support is out, so you are probably going to have to open it back up and do more surgery. Or get a new one.

The backlight occasionally comes on now.

Maybe something is loose. If you are already committed to taking it apart you might as well open it and take a look.

its apart, nothing is loose, going to try replacing the lcd cable, then lcd again, then logic board
