I understand that by routing all my emails on iPad thru gmail,
I can avoid endless spam. Now have 5 accounts entering separately
and want all to be thru gmail. how do it do?

Depends on the other 5 email account services.

1. Do they allow forwarding?
If yes, then log into each account and forward the email to your gmail account.

2. Do they allow POP3 access?
If yes, then log into gmail and set it up to download the email from the different accounts.

It isn't hard either way, but the forwarding is the easiest to set up. There is ample help within gmail itself for setting up your gmail to use POP3 for the other email accounts.

found the control panel to do that, but seems like it only lets me
get my gmail thru other addresses and not the other addresses thru
gmail, so i will try it again at another time.
