I replaced the glass panel on a iPad 3g.
My new touch glass works perfectly.
But the problem is, my lcd screen gives this outcome twitpic.com/371tos
It only shows horizontal lines, even when i turn the screen, it will show them in the same direction.
Anyone got a suggestion for me?

Hi, I have a similar problem with lines running across the middle 1/3 section of the screen across the short direction which makes it impossible to log in. This has happened for no apparent reason. The ipad has not been dropped & is well protected by a logic 3 case. It has had extremely light usage since we got it at Xmas. Only recently my son uploaded a whole load of Apps so I thought it might be software related to this or operating system problems? I tried a system update & restore twice, but this made no difference. Other postings seem to suggest it is a hardware problem & the only solution is to take it back to Apple. Any other suggestions?

I think your only alternative is to take it back. Be sure to let us know the outcome!

This is a bad screen so return it if you can and get a replacement.

Seems to be the same problem, I did replace my lcd, and my problem was solved. So it seems to me that your lcd is broken.
