When I turned on my ipad I got two or three messages that text messages were being sent. There is no program (app) that sends text messages on the ipad. Note: I was stupid and did not record what the warnings said. Any idea how or why this occured?

There are all kinds of apps that send popups. News programs like CNN, ABC, NBC in particular do this. Also some other newly installed programs send various alerts.

Thanks for the information. I just do not like supprises on outgoing traffic that does not originate from me.
