I can't help with the DisplayOut problem. However, I can tell you: Don't do a restore on that iPad2! If you do a restore, you WILL end up on iOS 5.1 and you WILL lose the jail break! Just so's you know...

Earlier, you said you got a message telling you that you needed an iOS upgrade when you "plugged it in." plugged it in to what? The TV? If so, what app are you running when it says that?

It said I need a iOS update on my phone. I'm running display out! I even purchesed it from bigboss and it still isn't working... Whenever I plug the adaptor up to my phone a message pops up on my phone telling me I need an iOS update! Someone needs to get their sources updated it seems to me, for iOS 5.0.1 on displayout!

Have you tried the suggested other cydia app I gave ?

Yes but I want a true hd picture not av picture... The tv2 works but not with my hdmi adaptor...

There must be something strange with your setup tatorhead. Display out is working fine for me with 5.01 on the iPad2. I don't think it is the app that needs updated.

Try getting a diff hdmi cable or use old hdmi cable with another device see if there's something wrong
