Hi All,

Just wanted to let those who have not yet purchased an iPad, Apple has started sending out iPads with 3.2.2 pre-installed. I ordered one a couple of weeks ago and just got it today.

You may have different luck if you get one in an Apple store, but I wasn't so lucky with my online order.

they always ship iOS devices with the latest version days after a new iOS is released.

and if you get a replacement (refurbished) device the day after a new iOS is released chances are you will get it with the new iOS on it.

I saw posts on another forum as recent as a week ago with people getting 3.2.1. I just wanted to let people know.

Does this mean no JB possible?

I think they should leave the choice open to personnal decision...that move sucks.

It does not matter what apple does....there will always be a jailbreak method. no company can stop it.

I hope that Apple gets in big trouble for what it is doing when the law now says that jail breaking is allowed. I so look forward to it.

Nothing has changed, jailbreaking has always been legal. Your falling for all the media mumbo-jumbo.

Acutally no it hasnt always been legal but a new DMCA law was pass to say that it is legal.

Anways count me as one of the unlucky ones that has a 3.2.2 right out of the box. Im wondering why cyndia would close the doors on the downgrade method that work for many even if they didnt have a jail broken or save there shh blobs makes no sense to me...

The only thing that could potentially become a legal issue is when Apple starts remotely disabling iPhones with that new patent. I suspect lawsuits will occur.

Just got my ipad from Apple and yes, it came with 3.2.2
There just has to be a way for us to downgrade it without needing the SHSH blobs. Even if we get root access, can't there be a way to force install 3.2.1? Or can't we request SHSH blobs for 3.2.2 and alter them to 3.2.1?

C'mon ipad gurus!!
