I have a iphon 4s and ipad 3, b0th ios 511, both jb with absinth.

Both have the same Cydia apps,such as zephyr, winterboard etc,

There is one big problem,

When updating apps from Cydia, and doing a respring as requested,

My iphone reboots fast, in just a few seconds it is up and running

My ipad 3 freezes. I have to do a hard reboot to get it going. This happenes every respring i do

Sounds like you have an iPhone only tweak installed on the iPad (since you state you are installing like for like, that is a risk). Compatibility is important. Not everything in Cydia is designed for both devices.

The best thing to do is to try and track down what is designed for iPhone only and get rid of it. You can use SBSettings to disable the Mobile Substrate addons, or you can simply remove them using Cydia. Once you find the culprit, just get rid of that one on the iPad and the problem will be gone!
