Hello Everyone,

I just got a new Ipad 3 WIFI+3G (5.1.1 currently) as a gift and i wanna jailbreak it.
But i have got a confusion in my head that "will i be able to restore to 5.1.1 later".
If its possible then please tell me all the prerequisites.(I have heard of TU for backing up your SHSH blobs and also that i can even do it with itunes restore...so please tell me the difference between these two backups. I have also heard that apple may stop signing for 5.1.1 like it does for old versions...so please elaborate on this point.)

And yeah i have heard about redsn0w too.. so please tell me which one should i prefer "absinthe" or "redsn0w". (i have a windows pc)

The first thing, while you are deciding on whether to jail break (and how): Do not upgrade to iOS 6. That is not jailbreak able at this time and will make this post irrelevant.
