    Directv app over different networks

    I have my HD DVR receiver hooked to my router at home with an Ethernet cable and I'm able to stream shows to my iPad. But my question is can I do this over a different wifi network? I would love to watch my iPad when I'm at work and between shifts. Can this be done?
