Both my iPad 3rd gen and iPhone are jail-broken using the absinthe 2.0 and work perfectly fine.

Only problem I seem to be having is that when I re-spring the SBSetting and Barrel apps appear on my springboard along with a few other miscellaneous things.

Does anyone experience this issue?

Also, sometime have iPad will just freeze when trying to re-spring....

reappearing hidden icons are a sign that a component such as libhide is crashing. It's usually nothing to worry about but may be a sign of a badly behaving tweak, or just too many tweaks installed which are making use of the same library. A respring will always fix it until it crashes again.
If it happens constantly, you probably need to weed out some tweaks (anything that messes with icons or the springboard) to see which one is behaving badly. Either remove ones you aren't using from Cydia, or disable them in SBSettings > More > Mobile Substrate Addons.
