didnt save shsh through cydia
so i follow this steps to downgrade from 3.2.2 to 3.2.1, it will work, without saving 3.2.1 shsh from cydia or backing it up? cause i updated to 3.2.2 from 3.2.1 without saving shsh. I just want to make sure i could still downgrade WITHOUT the saved shsh, and do i have to change or add the host file while running umbrella?
thanks

Yes, I hadn't saved my ssh blob prior to updating to 3.22. Just follow the instructions here to save your ssh blob using umbrella then close umbrella, then put your ipad in recovery mode ( hold home/power till you see the connect to itunes icon), open ituns, update your hosts file as per instructions, when you get the warning your ipad is in recovery, hit shift + click restore, select the 3.21 firmware you downloaded, wait for update to complete - all done, confirm firmware in settings/about then open safari on your ipad www dot jailbreakme dot com and hit the slider!

guys, have you ever encountered, on restart there are 2 thin vertical lines (seems like colors green, blue and red) just near the apple logo after your ipad has been jailbroken and cydia installed?

Finally!
I just downgraded from 3.2.2 to 3.2.1 without editing host file just tiny umbrella on. Then went to the jailbreak site and it worked right away, I love my new iPad! The instruction works.

I did all the steps, and I tried it like a hundred times, but every time I choose the 3.2.1 restore file and press restore, I get an error 3014.
any idea what I am doing wrong?
