Hey all you techno braniacs out there: I need help. AND FAST: I've tried to jailbreak my iPad (16gb wifi only) with the absinthe jailbreak tool and I've had problems: it rebooted a couple of times and when i entered cydia, the system shut down, and when i rebooted, only these apps were left: reminders, youtube, videos, iTunes, newsstand, photo booth, settings, music and photos . What should i do?: I'm currently restoring it via computer.

Well, since you are restoring it, there is little point in trying to troubleshoot it. It's certainly not typical behaviour. What did you install via Cydia before it happend? It sounds like you installed an JB app or tweak which was not compatible with the iPad, but was likely designed for the iPhone.
Either that, or something like SBSettings was configured to hide all those apps. Did you install that?

It's simple and easy.

Restore it through iTunes.
Once you are done please backup your iPad and reset all setting.

Then start over again.

My friend had the same problem and I helped him with this process and it worked fine.
