What are you connecting the hdmi from ipad to? computer / tv? And try another type of display out app. If it works or doesn't work, let us know
To a Samsung smart 3dtv 7000 series I'm on iOS
5.0.1
I've had problems with cheap HDMI extensions and with the iPad HDMI adapter not seating fully into the slot. This can especially be a problem if you have a cover on the iPad. Once I got a new HDMI cable and made sure the adapter was seating it has worked fine. I've read of some people having the adapter itself replaced. One thing to note, on iPad2 many apps including photo and video will let you display the output via HDMI without even being jailbroken or requiring the display out app.
It keeps telling me I need an iOS update!!!! When I plug it in
I'm on 5.01. It works fine for me. I don't know what's causing your problem.
Well any suggestions? Can I restore my iPad back to its original settings and go from their? I backed up my iPad so therefore I should be able to right? I just don't want the 5.1 software
