There is a new app called Handy Light that has a built in easter egg that allows you to setup an Ad-Hoc network with your wifi laptop/computer and share your 3G internet with it.

Here is the link, its $0.99 and apple is sure to pull it from the app store as soon as they get word of it. If this is something you want, snatch it quick before its gone for good.

This app requires iOS 4.0 or higher so it wont work with ipad until iOS 4.0 is out, but if you download it now before apple pulls it from the store you will be able to use it to tether an non jailbroked ipad once iOS 4.0 is released on iPad.

No, it will share the iphone's/ipad's to a PC.


cant tether iphone to iphone or iphone to iPad, ipad to iphone. It will share to a device thats capable of creating a wifi ad-Hoc network like a PC or Laptop.


So if you have a PC with wifi or a laptop you can tether your iphone/ipad to is to share the 3G data.

No, it was too late. Not available in the US store. I think that you were seeing the effects of caching.

it jumped up to the number 2 highest paid apps before it got pulled.

Wonder how long before it is on Cydia or one of the other repository sites.
