    If apple released ios 5.1 then can we update ipad 2 ios 5 to 5.0.1

    The is only about a 24hr window that apple will still sign 5.0.1 after 5.1 comes out. If you miss that you will never be able to put 5.0.1 on your device.

    why would you want to have a not up to date os..the new updates fix bugs
