About LinkBacksSo I'm trying to restore my ipad 2 because I want a couple of apps that require 5.0, namely Pages & Keynote, but I keep getting this "internet timeout" message after the download is over. My internet connection is great, so I'm wondering what the deal is. Sorry if it's been asked before.

Then it has nothing to do with my ipad being jailbroken? It's simply a "I have to continue trying" issue?

It's probably a "keep trying" issue as Apple's servers do get pretty congested. However, if you are trying to upgrade a jail broken iPad, may I recommend you take a look at this thread: TUTORIAL - Failsafe method to restore the current version of IOS
I posted it because, even though you aren't having problems with the upgrade, we've discovered it's much easier to upgrade a jail broken iPad after putting it into DFU mode and then installing a previously downloaded IPSW file (the firmware). But, I am lazy and don't want to re-type all the steps.
So, read through the link, and then follow the guide from step #3. See if this will help. Good luck and let us know how you get on.
